I went to a relatively small university with a relatively prestigious graduate program. This was in the US. This school, for some reason, received a relatively high number of African students that come to study in the US via a few very prestigious and competitive fellowship programs (that I’m sure most people have heard of but I won’t mention). So these should have been the cream of the crop so to speak. I am not racist and was friends with many of these students. Having class with them though, it was obvious that they were significantly less bright than the average white or asian student. They struggled much more with things relatively free of cultural bias, like conceptual problems linking flows of cause-effect via diagrams etc. This is quite anecdotal, but matches the research presented here.

Sorry white people, I don’t buy your “I’m not racist” line. If you are subscribing to these theories of race and intelligence, you are racist. If you are still actively questioning them, then there’s a little bit of hope left for you.

I’m going to jump right to my point about why it seems that blacks are less intelligent. The culprit is religion. I tell black people all the time “it’s not your skin color, it’s your culture that’s to blame”. Being black and having grown up with blacks (how many of you all can say that?), I can tell you first hand that from the moment a black child enters the world, he or she is indoctrinated with a bunch of silly stories and superstitions that are then reinforced by the same mundane coincidences that occur daily. These reinforcements slowly begin to take the emphasis off logic and science and put it on superstitions that cannot be proven. This explains why there are so few black scientists, mathematicians, economists, engineers, etc and so many black social scientists, civil rights leaders, lawyers, judges, cops, etc. They are doing “God’s work” of providing justice. This is a race-wide problem. Compare sub-Saharan Africa to East Asia. Who produces more products, the people that believe in multiple superstitions or the ones who believe in that which can be proven, ie math and science? We can prove that 9×9=81. We cannot prove that killing 20,000 people per year keeps dead royalty happy (Annual Customs performed by the Dahomey who were subsequently wiped out by the French; amen). I know black people who are semi-rich who cannot spell simple words and wouldn’t know H2O from H2O2 or O2 from O3. They wouldn’t be able to find Brazil on a map. On top of that, I read a study that said a child born into a very religious family will be even less intelligent than his or her parents.

Go to an orphanage and get a black child, a white child, a hispanic child and an Asian child. Raise them together and keep religion totally away from them. Teach them math and science along with all the other things the need. By time they grow up, you will have 4 people of average to above average intelligence.

Do the same thing but feed them religion and you will have 4 unintelligent slaves who you can lead around just by saying “this is what God demands”.

Thus, blacks can do anything that other races can do once we excise the demon of religion from our culture. How long will that take? Unfortunately, I believe a very long time because the church is deeply rooted in our culture like a blood cancer.

I suspect the author of this article suffered an inferiority complex before she embarked in her research which blatantly showcased her inherent racial biases and prejudices. She tries to legitimize her quest with a supposedly aversion to political correctness. Ya right!

First and foremost, there is only one race and it is the human race. If we weren’t of the same race, we couldn’t copulate among the different color groups.

The research table shows that we as humans are fanatic about giving ranks to anything, drawing conclusions from these ranks and applying conclusions to a whole group of people from a scanty set of subjects.

What is IQ? it is a small part of the intellectual ( reason) picture of a subject in a given time. IQ is not temporal as our ears, hands, feets or skin color. It is therefore not innate and can be improved over time according to a person exposure to an appropriate intellectual environment.

Do we really think Steve Jobs would have been Steve Jobs if he was raised in Syria? Would being born in Syria made him an inferior being because he may have not started Apple?
Our intellectual exposure and the basic gene of a sane mental cells plays a lot in the way we acquired knowledge.

Perhaps, age of intercourse for blacks is earlier and later for Asian in the table. Was the goal to caricature blacks as animal with a insatiable appetite for sex? If so, how come as a continent we have less people than China?

This article is a full of abusive generalizations that are erroneously passed as axioms. The intent goal is to reinforce the false assumption that black people are inferior to other colored-people( white, asians etc.).

I’d like to conclude by saying that racism is a natural reaction to her overly competitive societies. If one doesn’t want to become bullied by racists( anyone who despise you because of your color, religion, language), one need to educate himself. Racism cannot be fought with the emotion of the hearts.

Yes, all human being are not created equal(how do you define equality anyway) but our inequalities are not color-based like this obscure author wants to pretend.

I don’t care if there is a difference in IQ between large populations on average. People should be evaluated individually. There are very smart and very stupid people of all backgrounds. I evaluate people on a person to person basis; a meritocracy.

The fact that medieval China had a well developed infratructure which impressed Marco Polo, while Africa didn’t, does not prove that the Chinese are more intelligent. In his famous book “Guns, germs and stell”, Jared Diamond explains the difference in technology and economic development between different parts of the world as deriving from geographic factors, and not from racial differences.
By the way, you suggest that Vietnamese, being Asians, are very intelligent, but if you go to Vietnam, the country is extremely poor and underdeveloped, as was China a few decades ago. How does this fit in with your views?
