The punishment for violating the privacy of adults is negligible compared to the draconian child porn prison terms he faces. But does it make sense to punish him as strictly as for child kidnapping for ransom?

• Do you prefer your child to be secretly watched and filmed by a shy immature pervert or be kidnapped?

• The neighborhood gang extorting an adolescent’s or child’s lunch money
• School bullies sticking a kid’s head in the toilet or beating the child (even if only lightly)

• Bicycle robbers that dangerously push children off bicycles
• Dog owners that don’t keep their dogs leashed, locked, muzzled and thus get children bitten?
• A flash mob roaming the neighborhood, setting ablaze buildings

"Tanning bed pervert" nailed for kiddie porn production

Doyce Dean Griffis of Starke, FL, is charged with seven counts of production of child pornography, two counts of receiving child pornography, and one count of possession of child pornography.

According to police reports, from February 2000 until April 26 of this year, the 48-year old Griffis operated and maintained a tanning bed in an "outbuilding" at his residence.

Years later, when his then 15 year old daugher (who got spanked by her step father) wanted to move in with her father, he got another anonymous child abuse complaint regarding the 3 year old kid of his girl friend. Timothy Joe Emerson’s ordeal

Half of the complaints against Mr. Emerson were unproven, the other half obviously wrong or ridiculous:

We are also astounded to find that going through a cashier’s checkout line at Wal-Mart once or twice a week [based on testimony and cancelled checks provided by Joe Emerson] can be construed as a basis for a stalking complaint.

1. So Mr Emerson’s wife had an adulterous affair
2. Without any proof, she alleged her husband had threatened her lover
3. Mr. Emerson received a restraining order to keep away from his wife and not to sell any marital property
4. He was never told that this restraining order prohibits him from having weapons. Mr Emerson always had a big gun collection, something very normal in the USA.
5. Mrs Emerson invaded his office, then claimed she was threatened with a gun. No proof, of course.
6. Mr. Emerson got jailed for his firearms collection
7. Lost his medical license. Was unable to pay support to his wife, so his driver’s license was revoked
   

   Dr. Emerson has been on supervised release since April 28, 2005, and had a hearing in September 2005 so the federal judge could read aloud the special conditions of supervised release in open court.

   After he was paroled he did manage to see his daughter for about an hour before his mother collapsed. The little girl was visiting her grandmother last fall but when Dr. Emerson’s ex-wife found out he was there she took a policeman and forced him to leave and never brought the little girl back.

   Dr. Emerson had been staying at the motel in San Angelo, Texas, where his father lived until he died but at the end of July 2006 he was evicted for non-payment of rent. As is usual in such cases, all his possessions are being held until the unpaid rent is caught up. In order to do that he was making the rounds between Catholic Outreach Services, First Baptist Church, Salvation Army, and other charities. The Equal Justice Foundation is also trying to help and donations marked “Emerson Fund” can be made through PayPal, or by sending a check to the EJF at 455 Bear Creek Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80906-5820. All such donations are tax-deductible and Dr. Emerson receives 100% of your contribution.

   He found a friend to stay with on a temporary basis but is uncertain how long he can stay there. His next step is living in a tent, or under a bridge and he thinks being homeless might be better than having to worry about rent that he can’t pay every month. He says he has most of a tent, and a couple of sleeping bags, one multi-season, and one winter bag, but needs to get a rain fly for the tent, even if it almost never rains in San Angelo.

   He receives food stamps but still is able to eat only every other day or so in part because he can’t get to a store.

   The few friends that he had back before he went to prison have disappeared. A few of his former patients still help him out by driving him places, however.

   He is currently ~$71,000 in arrears on child support. Of course the reason he can’t pay is that his wife’s adultery resulted in his imprisonment and the loss of his medical and drivers licenses. Naturally, he has not been able to get his drivers license or medical license back since being released from prison.

8. In the mean time, a Walmart Cashier had accused him of stalking, simply for using her checkout line twice a week. Later she invented that he was stalking her house. Of course, all without proof. Or worse, proven false. Except, well, he really went to Walmart, but that usually is not a sex crime.
9. When he finally had a minimum wage job as a clerk and a girl friend, an anonymous accusation that he was abusing her 3 year old son got him sacked, evicted, and living on the street.  Of course, no proof. So little proof that “an “investigation” CPS [Child Protective Services] was “unable to determine” that there was any basis to the abuse claims.”.  Actually, there was proof to the contrary, that the accusations were impossible.

3 face charges in Texhoma ‘sexting’

TEXHOMA — Three men have been charged with the possession and distribution of obscene images of an underage girl, a Panhandle prosecutor said. He also said he isn’t sure punishments fit the alleged crime.

Eduardo Cisneros, 18, Diego Guzman, 18, and Cruz Holguin, 19, were charged in Texas County on July 16 with distributing nude photos of a 17-year old girl by phones and email, the prosecutor said.

“It’s a crime, and it needs to be addressed,” Texas County District Attorney Michael Boring said.

“But the only option is to charge them with possessing obscene materials and child pornography.”

There are no state laws that specifically address underage “sexting”- related crimes, he said.

Child porn-related convictions would result in the men having felony records. They also would be required to register as sex offenders for the rest of their lives.

Great. The judge showed common sense and convicted them to minor penalties instead of putting them into jail for 5 years and on sex offender lists for 25 years.

• why should there be any punishment for taking your own photo, naked or not? why can’t you give your own photo to your boyfriend, husband, father?
• what would be the problem if these photos were in possession of adults, even adults who derive sexual excitement from them? "I spent eight years helping law enforcement track down online sex offenders and never once did we see a case where search engine data was useful."

‘Women’s rights at change.org perpetuate manipulative language distortion to foster feminist political goals

It is essential for a witch hunt that dissent gets silenced, made taboo.  Change.org’s feminist watchdogs invoke emotional terms (“cause real pain to real victims of real crimes”) in order to avoid discussing the issues and silence dissent easily.  This is the central issue of Human-Stupidity.com: how Taboos, Dogmas, Religion make even the Intelligent blind, irrational, “stupid”. And self deception makes the censor believe s/he is a liberal person.

Thus, of course, the real pain caused to real victims of witch hunts is totally ignored.  Guys who spend years in jail for consensual sex with an adolescent, or for a unproven false rape accusation. What do most people understand by the word “rape”? What was the meaning of “rape” for centuries? Non-consensual violent intercourse.
What does the average reader of this article think? They guy attacked the girl in a dark alley and had sex with her under the threat of violence.  Strange, though, that he raped her repeatedly.

The points I made were
a) unproven rape accusations are always taken at face value and accepted as totally true, so the accused’s life is finished. No matter if the accusation is false
b) non violent consensual teenage sex should not be called rape
“I have dismissals of definition of rape”: yes, I resent to use the word rape for consensual sex. I think confusing consensual sex with an adolescent with violent rape, this is dismissing to victims of REAL violent non-consensual rape.
I have “dismissal of victims of rape” :  I think real rape is very bad. This is why I resent using the word “rape” for fondling, or for consensual sex. For example, statutory rape of adolescent boys by gorgeous 20 something women, I really don’t have much pity on the poor boys.
I also resent that the unproven accusation of one single, potentially vindictive female can ruin a man’s life. While the unproven accusation of murder or robbery will lead to no conviction.

It is interesting, surprising even to myself. If asked how laws should be changed, my answer is:

• just go back to the sexual laws30-50 -120 years ago

I am starting to get inspired to analyze, from an evolutionary point of view, how we got to where we are now. It seems to me:  men and women always had conflicts of interest. In the EEA (50 000 years ago in the savanna):

• Men had physical power, economical power (meat from killed prey, territory, …).
• Women had social and group manipulation skills and cunningness as their only counter-weapon to counter overpowering male physical power. Women even manage to enlist men to promote their issues …….

For stone age women, the only power they had to keep brute men at check would be

• shaming men for sexual digressions
• shaming men preventively BEFORE they could do sexual digressions

Men developed no defense against this because

• men still had the brute strength argument
• men still had the power to withhold food and protection
• women were usually right. They did not do excesses like punishing men with 20 years in jail for making cave drawings or stick figures of minors

Now men gave up both economic power and brute strength. Women kept all their power of cunningness. So women are winning on all fronts.

Normally the criminal gets punished, not the person having depictions of the crime.

Why are depictions of sexual activities so much worse then depictions of killing children and violence against children?

Would someone be sent 5 to 45 years in jail for for "production, possession, receipt, mailing, sale, distribution, shipment, or transportation of depictions of extreme violence and extreme physical abuse of a child"? NO! See examples below But there are jail terms for having 2 grainy low resolution photos of a nude teenager in a thumbnail database. That is a terrible crime.
